HYPNOSIS & YOGA NIDRA

Dive into the intelligence of your subconscious with two liminal practices, hypnosis and yoga nidra. In this group we will be working with the Vedic concept of Sankalpa and the hynosis tool of a future resourced self, both with the intention of teaching our minds and nervous systems that change is possible and safe. Come prepared to get cozy, play in the subconscious realm and benefit from the deeply restorative practice of yoga nidra.

Hypnosis is a creative conversation for change. Hypnosis isn’t something done to you, this is a dialogue between you and your subconscious where I will just be helping as a guide. Our minds are incredibly powerful, but often in life for a variety of reasons we get stuck in certain thought patterns, patterns that can be limiting, hindering to our growth, expansion and happiness. The beauty is that not only can we can change, we are changing constantly. Our brains are neuroplastic, meaning that the neural networks have the ability to reorganize and create new connections. When we collaborate with our minds, offering ourselves resource, hope, inspiration and possibility it allows us to move in the direction we want to be going. We do this work in a liminal space, one where the nervous system feels safe to create new connections. Together we will release old thought patterns while resourcing you on the path of where you want to go. Yoga Nidra is sometimes called the yoga of rest. or yogic sleep. Through a guided body scan a liminal state of consciousness is attained, the state between consciousness and sleep. In this state the body is able to truly rest and restore and with the use of tools such as sankulpa and sensing opposites a rewiring of neural pathways and somatic holding can also unfold. Yoga nidra is a great tool for anyone experiencing periods of stress, inflammatory conditions, hormonal shifts such as menopause or insomnia. This practice is done lying down, create a comfortable safe space for yourself. An eye pillow and palm stones can offer support and allow for deeper journeying, but are not essential.

  • This is a virtual group, a link will be sent out on the day of the group and a recording will be sent out to all afterwards in case you can’t make the live call. Recordings are good for 2 weeks after the group.
