BREATHWORK AND REIKI FOR THE HEART

How is your heart? We’ll come together in this group to listen, clear and open our hearts utilizing an active breath to open and move energy and then gentle restorative distance reiki to listen and integrate. The breathwork portion will be approximately 20 minutes and the reiki portion approximately 25 minutes.

To work with Reiki is to work with energy, Rei means universal life and Ki is energy. At it’s most essential if energy is moving smoothly in the body than life force can flow freely, so in some ways you could say that by moving energy, blockages are released. Reiki is a healing modality that takes you deep into your parasympathetic nervous system, this is the state that enables the body to heal. In deep meditative states such as these we enter the realm of the unconscious or dream language where the body may communicate in more subtle ways.

Breathwork is an active meditation that by occupying the mind creates space for the body to heal physically, emotionally and spiritually. This is a practice that can aid in letting go of old narratives, traumas and fears as well as connecting you to clarity, inspiration and a greater sense of embodiment. If you have been feeling stuck in any area of your life, having difficulty allowing love in, moving past an old wound, I invite you to try this practice. As an active practice it can bring up emotions, but know that the body won't bring up anything it isn't ready to heal and the energy of the group will hold and support you. After Breathwork sessions people usually leave saying they feel energized and lighter.

This group is sliding scale, please pick the one that best fits your needs. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds, please reach out if you need additional support.

  • This is a virtual group, a link will be sent out on the day of the group and a recording will be sent out to all afterwords in case you can’t make the live call or want to use it again.

  • This practice is done lying down, create a comfortable safe space for yourself. An eye pillow and palm stones can offer support and allow for deeper journeying, but are not essential.

  • 5pm Pacific Time, 8pm Eastern Time
